East Playgroups

Prospective members are invited to attend two events of your choosing (playgroups and/or MNO) before deciding to join Tucson Moms so you can meet with a group or two and see if it's the right fit for you and your child(ren). If you'd like to take advantage of this "free trial" you will need to download the registration form and sign the liability agreement before participating at any Tucson Moms event. Please give the form to the leader of the playgroup at the first event you attend.

Our group is spread across the east side as far up as Sabino Canyon down to Vail and lots of spots in between! We all share the responsibility of planning our schedules-every month 2 people sign up and plan all the events for the month. We have found this to be a great way to keep our programs fresh with ideas!!! Once a month we have an MNO where we get together "kid-less" and get to talk and laugh!!!! Every November we do an All-family Thanksgiving Pot luck! It has become a tradition! Since this group was formed in July of 2004 we have had lots of 2006 and 2007 brothers and sisters added to the group!!! We primarily plan events for the toddlers, but try to keep everything reasonable to do with a new little one too! We welcome you to come join our group!!!!!!

*East All Ages has just joined with East Preschoolers and Sibs!* East All Ages consists of moms with children ranging from infants to grade-schoolers. Our group participates in a variety of fun activities to accommodate all ages. We try to take advantage of what Tucson has to offer for our youngsters, such as going to story-time at the local library, open gym at the nearby gymnastics center, bowling at the bowling alley, picnicking at the park, visiting a museum, and so on. Members in our group take turns hosting holiday parties in their homes. In addition to all of this, once a month we have a cherished tradition of visiting residents at a local senior assisted living home for arts and crafts time. This happens to be one of our, if not the most, favorite activity for playgroup. Moms Night Out is also a perk for us moms to take a break and enjoy each others company by going out to dinner, the movies, the spa, etc. MNO is usually scheduled once a month. Playgroup is usually on Fridays, with the exception of once a month on a Wednesday when we visit the senior assisted living home. Playgroup time varies depending on the planned activities and the children's schedules. We are a warm, fun and friendly group and our hope is that we will see you soon for playtime!

We are excited to offer yet another option for a playgroup for babies born in 2005 (and their fabulous moms of course. Our East '05 group grew so large that we thought it would be fabulous to form yet another playgroup to accommodate the 2005 baby boom!
We plan to start meeting at the beginning of October 2006, and are open to 2005 babies that are new to Tucson Moms. We will plan to meet at various bookstores, libraries, homes and parks around town, depending on the weather.

Eastside 05 #1 is back as the new East & Southeast 05 & Sibs! We're a playgroup for all babies born in 05 and their sibs, either older or younger. We primarily meet in East and Southeast-side locations. We like to meet in our members' homes, at parks, the Zoo, museums, and many other fun locations. We look forward to meeting more moms and their kids!

Our group is fairly new, but we already have many people attending our activities. This group is for parents and their babies who were born in late 2005 and all of 2006. We will be participating in a variety of activities on Tuesday mornings including meetings at members houses, parks, library playtimes, and restaurants for breakfast just to name a few. We will also be holding Moms Night Out activities once a month. We hope to build life long friendships and supportive relationships between our members. Please come and join us.

We will be doing a variety of activities on Tuesday mornings including meeting at members houses, parks, library playtimes, and trips to local outdoor venues just to name a few.
