How much does it cost to join Tucson Moms?

It costs $38 a year, February to February. Half year memberships ($19) are available starting in August.

Can you prorate my membership?

We are unable to prorate at this time due to the complexities involved in tracking membership.

As a non-profit organization, we do not offer refunds.

What does my membership pay for?

Your membership pays for a monthly newsletter, two family events throughout the year and helps subsidize bi-annual Moms Nights Out. Playgroup leaders receive some money to use on each individual playgroup. Also, a small percentage goes into our endowment fund. Of course there are the management costs associated with running Tucson Moms; our website, mailings, insurance, committee meetings, printing costs, etc.

I didn’t get my newsletter this month. Can I still get one?

There are usually a few extra copies printed, so let us know if you didn’t receive one at tucsonmoms@tucsonmoms.com. We’ll double check to make sure you’re on the mailing list also.

I want to put a Member Services ad in the newsletter, who do I contact?

Send text for ads, 25 words or less, to tucsonmoms@tucsonmoms.com by the 15th of the month. Member Services ads run for three consecutive months. For Sale/Wanted ads will only run for one month. All ads must be resubmitted for continuation.

I am a Tucson Moms member and would like to announce the birth of my new baby! How can I do this?

Tucson Moms offers a free Birth Announcements section in the Tucson Moms Link newsletter! If you are interested in announcing your little bundle of joy, please send baby's info to tucsonmoms@tucsonmoms.com. You can include as little or as much information as you'd like, including baby's name, date and time of birth, weight and length, Mom and Dad's names, siblings, your playgroup(s), etc. All submissions are due by the 15th of the month and run for one month.

I want to put a display ad or a flier in the newsletter. Who do I talk to?

Our display ads start at 3"x3" and cost $35 each month with larger sizes available for additional cost. Full page fliers are available for $100 per month. We ask for a 3-month commitment. More information on our ads is available on this site under the "Advertising" Link from the home page. The deadline for submission of ads is the 15th of each month. Deadlines for November and December are earlier due to the holidays. Please contact our Advertising Coordinator at advertising@tucsonmoms.com to make arrangements.

Tucson Moms has established what we think are "Common Sense Member Guidelines" to help playgroups run smoothly, and to help ensure all members and their children have a positive playgroup experience.
