Volunteer Positions

Our 2010 membership year is in full swing making now a great time to start thinking about joining one of our great committees. Volunteering can be a one time situation, an ongoing commitment, or anything in between. If you have been thinking you’d like to pitch in, we’d love to hear from you! We can find something for you to help out with no matter how much or little time you have to give.

Committee News

Social Commitee
The Social Committee had a wonderful ’09 year full of fun family events and are super excited for all we’re planning in 2010. Get ready Tucson Moms for our 10th Anniversary Celebration coming in April – it’s sure to be a night to remember! We’re also planning more Family Movie Night in the Park Events for the spring and fall, more Family Zoo days, and possibly more visits to the Tucson Children’s Museum, Pump It Up and Family Park days. If you have an idea or are interested in helping us out with a little planning, please contact us.

Community Involvement

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Tucson Moms! Our 2009 Annual Holiday Giving Event was a huge success because of the generosity of our wonderful members. Funds for the Holiday Giving Event were raised at the Silent Gift Basket Auction at the Tucson Children’s Museum Event in November ’09 and throughout the year with the sale of I See Me Books.

This year we were able to support two families through the Arizona Children’s Association. Both families received gift cards for groceries, new clothes for all family members, and toys for the little ones. Both families were incredibly grateful for all they received and thankful to our kind and generous members.

In addition to the families we supported, Tucson Moms will also be making a monetary contribution to the local Food Banks. Thanks again to everyone for your support!

If you have a passion for helping other and are interested in helping out on the Community Involvement Committee for the 2010 year, we can definitely use your help! Let us know
